Positive Review

"Underrated excellent luxury and performance"

Just park an RLX Hybrid SH next to any competing Lexus or BMW to make a fair comparison. This vehicle is Accord / Honda's top of the line and surely deserves all accolades. It's a sleeper but beautiful and dependable.

Best car I ever owned
Pros

Robust power when needed, quiet ride, sound system

Cons

Dated infotainment system and maps

When I bought it in Sept 2020, I knew the technology was dated compared to other models, and what I traded in for it (2019 RDX Advance), but I have no regrets as far as that goes. The ride is superb. The acoustic glass does the job. The interior is very quiet, even compared to the latest offerings from Acura. Only down side, is when you turn on sport mode, and hoof it down the road, it doesn't sip the gas, it slurps it down quick. But in Sport Mode, when you floor it, it plants you firmly in your seat. Those 377 ponies are running! WOW! Best bang for the buck at the time. Fuel mileage in hybrid mode is good. Highest I got for highway on a trip I took was 33mpg. It probably could've gone higher, but I was doing 75 the whole way. In city driving, I get around 22-23mpg with the start stop engine feature. It's very comfortable as well. I really hope Acura comes up with a replacement for it in the near future. I've been comparing it to 2023 models out there, from Acura and others, and from info available here on Kelly, I'm surprised to learn that even after 3 years of being out of production, it still surpasses the newer cars in many ways. If you're fortunate enough to find a used one that was kept well and with low mileage, get it, you won't be disappointed.

Incredible value
Pros

Speed, technology, comfort

Cons

Kinda hard to park, but 360 camera is a huge help

Incredibly comfortable, but also plenty of power when you need or want it. Handles way better than the weight would suggest, plus it basically drives itself on the highway. All for under $30k
