An excellent drive, very smooth, AWD is exceptional in the dry and wet/snow. Interior is very well appointed, the leather seats are to an excellent standard, the maple wood with the technology package is a nice touch and I really like the dash look and layout. Also the high tech gizmos are great fun, and in many cases enhance the utility of the vehicle. This is my third Acura (two TL's previously) and I can honestly say I'm glad I stuck with the brand. Before going for the RL I did visit Audi and BMW, and it is totally impossible to get anywhere near what you get with the Acura for anything close to the same price. I will also say that the local Acura dealership goes out of its way to be friendly, courteous, informative and efficient. I have heard criticisms of the power of the V6 but actually I think it is totally acceptable. The car is heavy so I thought it would feel sluggish in comparison to the TL's but this is not the case. When you get the revs up the power is pretty impressive. In addition the AWD makes cornering a joy, you can really throw it in and accelerate out with total confidence. Great job Acura. In terms of improvement I am hard pressed to come up with anything, perhaps the exterior could be a little more edgy in design, but personally speaking I like the look. Classy without too much brashness is the way I would put it.

I had the the car since 1-1-05 and i had nothing but problems. These are the items that have been replaced at least once-4 door handles, climate control panel , multiple sensors , nav system, radio,on star system .

I really like this. Car I haven't owned it long but thus far seems to be a good reliable car. The information display does show some issues but it hasn't affected the car . Nice features like talk back and handsfee. But overall I am please with the purchase of my 06 Acura Rl
I’m on my 3rd RL in the last 12 yrs. I had a 2010, 2011 and now a 2014. I moved from Minnesota to Florida 3+ years ago and before I move I sold my 2011 to my cousin, it was AWD and was probably the best one of all, especially in MN. The AWD (last year of that feature) was the most comfortable car/truck I’ve driven in snow, no matter the depth. My cousin agreed with me but hit a deer in WI and totaled it 3 months after I sold it to him, he was devastated. Prior to that I sold my 2010 to my daughter-in-law is still driving it with almost 200K miles on it. Had to replace the timing belt but other than that, brakes, oil, tire stand gas! Now I have the 2014 RLX in Florida. These cars were and are the most reliable and such a pleasure to drive. Luxury, and performance to add to it. I’ve owned around 25 cars in my life, overall, nothing compares.

Good all around car. Seems to drive well has some interior cosmetic stuff also needs AC tune up and front lights in order to be right but on all seems like a good vehicle for 2006 has low mileage a few things to do other than that that's it.
Smooth ride
Doesn’t have backup camera or Bluetooth.
Missing features such as rear view camera and Bluetooth. However it’s a comfortable and powerful luxury ride that will not disappoint.

No back up Camera for the 2005 Acura RL
Great car, smooth ride, dependable. Stylish. Quick and stable on the road. Stock Michelin tires are grippy. Nice interior. Nav, sunroof, wood steering wheel. Bright headlights that tract into the turn. 2005 Acura RL has no back up camera. Great performance in the rain. I feel confident driving long distances. Solid Car.
LUXURIOUS, RELIABLE, HARDLY SEE ON THE ROAD

I BOUGHT THIS CAR IN 2017 AND ITS MY DREAM CAR. I WANTED THIS CAR SINCE 2008 BUT COULDNT AFFORD IT BECAUSE IT WAS A $50,000 LUXURY CAR. LET ME TELL YOU ITS WORTH THAT PRICE CAUSE YOU GET A BEAUTIFUL EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR AND THE PERFORMANCE IS GREAT AND MOST IMPORTANTLY ACURA RELIABILITY. THE ONLY THING IS THE CHROME PEELS. DOESNT LOOK BAD THOUGH. LOVE THIS CAR AND WILL KEEP FOREVER

Need to be a techy to navigate some features
Bought used with 167k miles. Have had for two years with zero problems. Only maintenance was to change oil and rotate tires. Smooth acceleration and plenty of power. Fun car to drive with responsive steering. Interior is comfortable and durable. Outstanding quality-both exterior and interior. Great car and I would highly recommend. Only negative is the tech package takes time to get used to. It is techy
