Positive Review
Fun to drive and own! I've owned this Acura for several years and I get nothing but complements! Driving around town, I could be citied with a ticket for causing unnecessary accidents and neck injuries from drivers in the opposite lanes doing a "double take" look at this NSX! "Is it a Ferrari?", one bystander asked. "It's that new sportscar from Acura! Wow!", a military soldier telling another colleague. No TPMS, no BSM, no back up sensors or Eco mode and no beverage holders in this sportscar. Justs sweet looking and drive ride that growls when you accelerate and when the VTec kicks in. It handles like a true sportscar! The car is so balanced under acceleration/braking and entering into and out of turns...probably due to the after market coilovers. Ground clearance is not an issue due to the design...everything is tucked up and out of the way. Tire clearance? I'm running 18x9.5 on 215/35r 18 in the front and 19x11.5 on 275/30r 19 on the rear...and still have room to go wider, but I would caution that. One of my female clients saw me in the NSX and said the car looks sexy! I once parked my Acura next to a brand new red 2014 corvette and boy, did people flock to the NSX. The NSX has this nostalgic look that just doesn't seem to look outdated...especially being 1991 model. Aloha and Mahalo!!!

Although I dont drive it often, it is an amazing every day driver easy to maintain. I have currently 5800km (3625 miles) on it and enjoyed every one of them
Great car
Fun to drive and a pleasure to own.
No cup holders. Doesn't get 35 mpg...Ha!

Classic styling; collectible; appreciating; raw
The Acura NSX is a modern-day collectible. KBB/Resale values have appreciated, and will continue to do so. It's styling is classic, and won't be matched by new designs due to safety regulations. The low-slung wedge shape is a treasure of the late 80s/early 90s Pininfarina-inspired era. It is a piece of automotive history, and will forever be so. This is the ONLY car that has been tuned/designed by the late Aryton Senna (in his prime), arguably the greatest Formula 1 driver of all time. This is the last of the raw 2-seater exotics that can be had with a manual transmission--and the only one that is reliable and reasonable in maintenance requirements. Many have gone past the 200,000 mile mark with no major expenses. While the performance numbers don't match the modern-day offerings, the performance is still exhilarating and you will still hit 0-60 in as low as 4.7 in stock form. But the numbers don't tell the whole story. You have NOT driven a sports car until you have driven something like this. Your M3s may have more HP, but they are GT cars. You have not experienced an exotic sports car until you have driven something like this. It is light-weight, has an all-aluminum body, and a high-revving V6 with titanium connecting rods. The engine screams right behind your head, and the noises are intoxicating. With all of that going on just inches above the ground, you are really getting something unique. If you had to compare it to a modern-day rival, it's like a mini Mclaren MP4-12C in terms of experience, although it is much more raw and provides much more driver involvement.
Value, speed, handling, comfort, looks, rarity
Cup holder not good, that's it.
This car is fast, quiet, handles like it is on rails, and everyone loves it. When I fill it up, people always come over and want to ask what it is, how fast is it, is it ok to take a picture, etc. Drove from Denver to Austin with AC on, never below 75 mph, up to 130 mph for a couple of miles, it never got below 26 mpg. Good stereo, cold AC, very comfortable seats. I have had 68 cars, this is my favorite. I have had Jags, Mercedes, Corvettes, etc, this is the best car of all. Very well built, very balanced, great quality, Honda parts are cheap compared to the Euro supercars. In 1998 they made 245 of them. At least 6 are totaled, exclusivity in spades.
"This is my 2nd. NSX. The NSX is the best value exotic sports car in the world. Ride, handling, comfort and looks are outstanding. It has the reliability of a Honda and the feel of a Ferrari. All I have ever had to do is normal maintenance. What a joy to drive. The last time I was in for regular service, there was 2 NSX's in for service that each had over 130,00 miles on them. I asked the mechanic what he doing to them, the answer was normal service, that's all they need. Nuff said!!" Timeless exotic look still stops people in their tracks, feels like driving a racecar everyday, handles like a Ferrari but with LEXUS build quality and Honda Accord reliability. The sound of the engine is intoxicating!"
looks, quality, handling
love to have more power but for its time great!!!!
best sports car for its time and still competes all these years later. ensure you have a proper ppi performed b4 you buy.being a honda, oil and rubber and perform your services and it'll last!!! expensive to work on but worth every penny. I have owned mine for 8 years and never plan on selling it. Over the years I have gone from driving it as my DD to driving it only for fun but after all these years I still always get excited to drive it.
Performce, looks, reliability
You can't stop driving it.
Ferrari performance and looks with Honda reliability. The every day super car. Every car enthusists should own one once in their life. Nothing handles like an NSX, very reliable, you can drive this car 200k miles, try that with a Ferrari. Sweet spot for buying an NSX is the 95-96 models. These models have the targa roof (1995-2005 are targas). Just be sure to change the timing belt every 7 yrs or 70k miles, which ever comes first. Drive an NSX, you will buy it. Can't stop driving it.
