Positive Review
I have owned 14 ACuras and Hondas through the years. I can confidently say this is the best Acura to date. It has only one "defect" a complicated audio/Navy system. Its not that its illogical but rather that it has so many capabilities and functions that setting everything up takes an evening or two, once that is surmounted it works great. Everything else on this vehicle is good to excellent, quietest Honda ever made, best Honda automatic transmission, excellent audio, powerful and superbly refined engine, excellent handling, smooth ride, good fuel economy, best headlights in the market, extraordinarily comfortable seats, improved interior space. Though the third row is still for kids, adults can not only fit in a pinch they can also climb back there without being a certified yogi! Without a doubt the benchmark of the midsize luxury SUV's.
Critical Review
My two prior MDXs were great so I only did a short test drive of the 2016 AWD Tech...big mistake...I had too much faith in Acura. The new 9 speed transmission is a disaster giving short, noisy and lurching shifts from a stop...slow response to downshifting when slowing on a downhill using the paddle shifters. I could not get comfortable with the button gear shift. The two screens are hard to read in sunlight and the touch screen finger prints make it even worse. At 1900 miles I decided to trade it on a BMW X5 but the same dealer offered $12,600 less than the msrp on trade-in....so much for fair treatment of a repeat customer. If you look at this MDX do a weekend test and pay attention to the above.

pl provide kbb value because i want to trad the car and would to understand existing value of the cqr
Car is in good shape. Interior is very good. Exterior has normal wear and tear. Some small dings on front bumper. Infotainment system is very good
Have owned multiple MDX and the 2020 so far is my favorite. Technology package provides easy-to-use controls for CarPlay, navigation, and hands-free. I do wish it had a touchscreen and Bluetooth connectivity for carplay. Comfortable ride with sport, comfort modes depending on your preference. Never had any maintenance issues.
2 Recalls this year. First one took 2 months for it to get fixed. Second recall have been waiting 9 MONTHS with no ETA from Acura as to when parts will be available. This will likely be the last Acura as there isn't much communication and just keep saying "we don't know when the parts will be available".
clean title , clean seat , good engine ,good transmission , good paint , change new oil engine ,new transmission oil
No
Ok news history suvs, nothing going about it
Old news SUVs with the V6 engine. Acura don't make these any more. So say good bye to your future resale value. Only an ignorant person would buy this thing right now for a higher price tag in this economy. These vehicles have no purpose. It's mainly for driving it around on pavement. It's not an off-road vehicle. It's just an overall priced junker in today's market. Newest vehicles 2024 are hybrid, to electric or a fuel mileage car. There's no more Acura MDX V6.
Purchased my first Acura, a 2017 MDX with 27K miles on it in the fall of 2020. I was excited to join the Acura family. First two years of ownership were flawless. About 6 weeks ago starting developing transmission issues. Metallic noise and complete loss of power for about 5 secs when passing. Two trips to the dealership and they could not replicate the issue. Finally captured the noise, tach and speedometer on video and sent to service advisor. Scheduled an appointment, but was two weeks out. Two days after scheduling the appointment, while exiting freeway I experienced the same issue only this time never regained power and transmission warning/errors light lit up. Had to be towed to the dealership. Received a call today that the transmission had catastrophic failure and would need to be replaced at 85,000 miles. Luckily still under warranty. From what I've read this past week, seems like the 2017 MDX transmission has been HORRID. Not what I expected from the brand. Not likely to stay in the Acura family given this experience.
Mint condition runs very wellp no check engine lights runs very well very high maintenance very kept well and mint condition stereo sound now you just got to put something into so if you're it's like if you're selling it to me
