My wife wanted one of these and I was certain that the car would not be comfortable for me as I am well over 6' and big. Comfort is excellent. I own other European cars and this one has everything I need and want. Headlights are great, power is great, controls are great, quality is great, the ride is silent but firm. Excellent manners and handles very very well. I can't say enough good about this car. By the way, I own a European Auto repair shop and won't own a NEEDY car (Saab, Volvo). Very safe bet,

I have owned 5 BMW's in the last 30 years starting with a 1986 3 series, my last 2008 X3 is the worst one and the last one I will ever own, before 100,000 miles, engine oil leaks, body water leaks, various engine sensor failures, spark plug coil failures, and the Dealer told me I needed to replace the transmission at a cost of 9 grand. BMW are not the Ultimate Driving Machine, they are the Ultimate Maintenance Machine

Great price for a great car
Technology is not current
This car is a great buy. While it may lack the latest technology, the car has tight turns and great acceleration.
you have to keep up with everything,replace your accessories when needed and prevenative maintenance a must. Other that that its a great car
My car is currently at 205,000 miles! Well built! Just started having a transmission issue so it’s likely coming to the end of its life. When small things break down, parts and labor are more expensive but it rarely had issues.
We have in excess of 220,000 miles on our 2007 X3! Still looks awesome and drives very well. Thanks so much to Helmut & Vito's in Downers Grove for helping us maintain this awesome vehicle over the 16 years we've owned it too!

Make sure you do your maintenance
Picked up an 07 X3 m sport with a blown out transfer case for very minimal upfront cash. I did have to do a transfer case motor mount change the tranny fluid while I was at change the oil replace the front struts change the coolant it does have a battery drain so I put a marine style on off switch on the battery turn it off at night I modified it to be only real well drive and it's really amazing keep in mind if you buy one that's this old you may have to put at least a few thousand dollars into it
2007 BMW come out to be the worst BMW ever meet at always have problem. Everything is made out of plastics and after 80,000 miles problem after problem.
