Toyota’s legendary reputation for reliability is just one of the reasons it keeps earning Best Resale Value Awards trophies.
Toyota traditionally performs well in resale value. But the introduction of new models that are in high demand figures prominently in propelling the automaker to the top brand in Kelley Blue Book’s Best Resale Value Awards for mainstream manufacturers. Starting with the more rugged look in the redesign of the 2019 RAV4 and the elegant makeover of the 2020 Highlander, Toyota is hitting its stride in the hot crossover SUV segment.
Toyota also demonstrates tremendous strength in resale value in the expanding midsize pickup truck market with its Tacoma. And while the Tundra has not delivered the sales numbers as its domestic rivals among full-size pickups, its entry does an exceptional job in retaining value. Toyota’s drive to produce hybrids in many of its product lines is also showing an impact on resale value for the high fuel economy inherent in this technology.
